Erica Shepherd of Greenwood, Indiana, helped the U.S. win its sixth-consecutive Junior Ryder Cup. Shepherd posted a 2-1-0 record in the event after earning a pair of 5 and 3 victories on Monday in the foursome and four-ball competitions. Shepherd, a three-time Rolex Junior All-American, has two tournament titles in her AJGA career. The Duke University commit also won the 2017 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship.

Ricky Castillo of Yorba Linda, California, went undefeated at the 2018 Junior Ryder Cup, posting a 2-0-1 record. Castillo earned a 4 and 3 victory in Monday’s foursome matches, and he also took a 3 and 1 win in Tuesday’s singles. Castillo, the No. 4 player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, has three tournament championships in his AJGA career. A University of Florida commit and two-time Rolex Junior All-American, Castillo has been a member of two Wyndham Cup West teams in 2016 and 2017.

Irene Park of Rowland Heights, California, posted a 3-over-par 147 to win the SCPGA Players Tour Fall 2-day at Rancho California. Park used a stellar final round that included three birdies to earn a five-stroke victory. In her AJGA career, Park has two top-15 finishes, with her best being a T2 in her first AJGA event at the AJGA Preview at River Ridge earlier this year.

Samuel Cho of Diamond Bar, California, carded a 1-under-par 144 to take a one-stroke victory at the FGC National Tour LA Valley Junior. After entering the final round trailing by one stroke, Cho sank three birdies and an eagle on the back-nine to complete the comeback and win the tournament. In two years as an AJGA member, Cho’s best finish came in 2016 at the AJGA Preview at Morongo where he finished T15.
