Cason Cavalier of St. Simons Island, Georgia, earned his first victory of 2018 on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour at the Jekyll Island Junior Open #2. On Sunday, Cavalier erased a two-stroke final-round deficit by holing three birdies in the round. In two AJGA events in 2018, Cavalier has one top-20 finish at the 2018 Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior All-Star.

Jennifer Gu of (Canada) West Vancouver, British Columbia, earned her second-career Golf Canada tournament title Sunday at the Future Links driven by Acura Fall Series Championship. The 15-year-old was in control from the start, as she turned in an opening-round even-par 72 to take a two-stroke lead. Gu entered the finaal round tied for the lead, but a one-over par 73 would pave the way to a sixth victory. In one year of AJGA competition, Gu has two top-10 finishes at the 2018 AJGA Preview at Bentwater and the 2018 Eagle Crest Junior Championship.

Nicklas Staub of Boynton Beach, Florida, used a final-round charge to earn his second Florida Junior Tour tournament title of 2018 at the Florida Junior Tour at Quail Ridge Country Club. After entering Sunday’s final round tied for the lead, the two-time ACDS Junior All-Star Team member fired a one-under-par 71 to take a two-stroke victory. The win is Staub’s fifth-career title on the Florida Junior Tour. As an AJGA member since 2016, Staub has seven top-10 finishes, including a tournament title at the 2016 Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Sugarloaf.

Jinyu Wu of (China) Bradenton, Florida, took home her first Florida Junior Tour tournament championship Sunday in wire-to-wire fashion at the Florida Junior Tour at Golf Club of the Everglades. Wu, who entered the final round with a one-stroke lead, holed six final-round birdies to eventually take the tournament title by seven-strokes. As an AJGA member, Wu was named to the 2018 ACDS Junior All-Star Team. She also has six top-10 AJGA finishes to go along with a tournament title at the 2017 AJGA Junior at Ford’s Colony.
