Jonathan Griz of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, won the Gator Invitational by one stroke carding a tournament total of 8-under-par 132. Griz started the tournament strong shooting a 6-under-par 64 that included zero bogeys and six birdies. The 15-year-old shot a 2-under-par 68 in the final round, but it was his clutch play in his final two holes that sealed the victory. Griz birdied No. 17 and then eagled No. 18 to move him one stroke clear of Nicholas Dunlap and make him the youngest Gator Invitational champion in history. Griz is ranked No. 21 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and has two top-5 finishes in his AJGA career.

Danielle Suh of San Ramon, California, won the San Francisco City Championship at TPC Harding Park. Suh began the match-play tournament by overpowering Grace Bettis 7&6 to advance to the quarterfinals. She then won her quarterfinal match 3&2 and in the semifinals she defeated Madelyn Gamble 2&1. After the 36 holes of the championship match, Suh and Aman Sangha were tied and headed to extra holes. Suh would go on to defeat Sangha on the 38th hole to earn the first major amateur win of her career. The 17-year-old has played in six AJGA events with her best finish coming at the 2018 ACDS Junior Championship presented by Live View Golf where she finished third.

Brian Boles of Lubbock, Texas, won the Texas Cup Invitational after carding a tournament total of 1-over-par 143. Boles shot the low score of the tournament in his first round, carding a 2-under-par 69 to take the lead. A clutch birdie on No. 18 gave him a final-round 3-over-par 74 and a one stroke victory over Matthew Watkins. Boles has been playing in AJGA events since 2015 and has totaled four top-10 finishes. His best AJGA finish was third at the 2017 AJGA Kansas Junior at Buffalo Dunes.

Ingrid Lindblad of Halmstad, Sweden, finished T23 as an amateur at the Symetra Tour’s Florida’s Natural Charity Classic. Lindblad earned a spot into the field after winning the ANNIKA Invitational USA presented by Rolex in January. In the Symetra Tour event the Louisiana State University verbal commit started with a 4-over-par 76. Lindblad was determined and came back in the second round with a 3-under-par 69 to get in just inside the cut line. A final-round 4-under-par 68 that included five birdies got her to 3-under-par 213 for the tournament. Lindblad is a member of the class of 2019 and is No. 20 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
