As golfers, we should channel our determination and commitment towards an issue that has had resounding effects globally. Obviously, as much as I love Golf, it's far more important to help with a pandemic that has claimed the lives of thousands. I really want to help. Even if my impacts are minute. But without your support, only so much can be accomplished. Will you join me in my endeavours to make a difference? I am partnering with the American Junior Golf Association and Direct Relief to raise money to help those in need across the world. Direct Relief is delivering surgical masks, N95 respirator masks, gloves, gowns, and other items from its emergency medical stockpile that have been specifically requested by hospitals and health centers. Currently, the most urgent need for us is personal protective equipment. All these items are critical in containing the virus but are in dangerously low supply. Together, we can help provide these life-saving items to people across the world.
Your dollars will not only support the health care workers during this global crisis but will also impact some of my fellow junior golfers through the ACE Grant program. Your contributions will help talented junior golfers with a desire to better their life by playing junior golf and earning a college golf scholarship. These juniors lack the financial resources to compete at the national level to gain exposure to these scholarships. They need our help as well. The scholarships these juniors earn through their play change the course of their life and the life of their future family.
