Karoline Tuttle of Lake Mary, Florida, began her AJGA career in 2017 with a Junior Golf Hub Preview Series event. The current eighth-grader medaled in the March AJGA Preview at Fair Oaks Ranch (Ages 12-15) which helped her earn entry in the Easter AJGA Junior All-Star presented by Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy, where she finished T12.
That ACDS Junior All-Star Series (another AJGA event series created for juniors ages 12-15) tournament finish produced more PBE, which led to her entry into the June Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star. A top-three finish in the Georgia event gave the 14-year-old enough PBE status to enter an AJGA Open tournament. She finished T7 at the Jim Bell Memorial Junior presented by PerryGolf in July.
Tuttle's top finishes — along with a win at the Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior All-Star in July — throughout the season also elevated her Rolex AJGA Ranking, which led to invitations to the Swinging Skirts AJGA Invitational in August and Justin Rose Junior All-Star Invitational at Reynolds Lake Oconee in October.
Tuttle is currently No. 140 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings after a successful 2017 season which started with a Junior Golf Hub Preview Series opportunity.
Jackson Cross of Sugar Hill, Georgia, also began his AJGA career in 2017 with a Junior Golf Hub Preview Series event. The current high school sophomore earned four performance stars after finishing T8 at the AJGA Preview at Carolina Trace in April. Cross was then able to earn entry into the Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star where he finished 43rd.
Cross still had enough PBE to gain entry into another ACDS Junior All-Star Series event. Cross finished second at the David Toms Foundation Junior All-Star, good for eight additional performance stars. He used those stars to gain entry into his first Open. Cross finished T52 at the WinCraft / McArthur Towel & Sports Future Legends.
Cross is currently ranked No. T450 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
