Leadership Links goes inside the ropes at The Honda Classic

Six juniors had the opportunity of a lifetime at The Honda Classic March 3 when they traveled to the personal residence of Jack Nicklaus as a reward for raising at least $5,000 through the Leadership Links program. Proceeds from the efforts made by AJGA juniors went to the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation, which recieved a total of $40,000. Six of the seven top juniors spent time with Jack and Barbara Nicklaus and also met and took a picture with the 2019 The Honda Classic champion Keith Mitchell.

Top fundraisers for the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation in 2018 were:

• Tommy and Jack Morrison of Pinehurst, North Carolina
• Lauryn Nguyen of Seattle
• Pierce Robinson of Kings Mountain, North Carolina

The AJGA’s Leadership Links program helps develop young men and women by teaching charitable giving skills and service-oriented practices at an early age. This program gives juniors all the tools necessary to donate their time, talent and resources to local charities and the ACE Grant.
