The Road to Reynolds campaign wraps up with the AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational at Reynolds Lake Oconee on October 5-8. The elite field consists of 78 players ages 12-16, featuring 43 AJGA champions and 12 members of the 2018 ACDS Junior All-Star Team:

  • The Invitational has traditionally produced a champion who has gone on to accomplish impressive feats at the next level. Notable junior golfers who got their start with the ACDS Junior All-Star Series include: Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Patrick Reed, Inbee Park, Brittany Lang and Alison Lee since the creation of the series of events in 1998.

  • Reynolds Lake Oconee will host the AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational each October through 2020. Announced in 2016, the partnership features involvement from the Reynolds Lake Oconee team to produce one of the AJGA's top events. In 2018, the event is being hosted for the first time by the Lake Oconee course because of Great Waters renovations.

  • The champions of each of the 2018 ACDS Junior All-Star Series events and ACDS Junior All-Star Team members received an automatic invitation to the event. Based on the Rolex AJGA Rankings, the Boys Division features five players ranked inside the top 100. The Girls Division has eight players in the top 100. Xin (Cindy) Kou of Windermere, Florida, is the only player in the field with experience as an AJGA Invitational winner after her victory at the 2018 KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational.

History has proven that top performers at the season-concluding Junior-All Star Invitational have a bright future in college and professional golf, and the 2018 field will look to replicate that success.
