Luke Potter of Encinitas, California, and Xin (Cindy) Kou of (China) Windermere, Florida, notched victories at the AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational at Reynolds Lake Oconee.

Xin (Cindy) Kou of (China) Windermere, Florida, shot 9-under-par 207 to earn her eighth AJGA tournament title. The two-time Rolex Junior All-American holed seven birdies to erase a four-stroke deficit and win the tournament by three strokes. Luke Potter of Encinitas, California, took home his first Boys Division title Monday. The Arizona State University commit fired an 8-under-par 208 to win the title by one stroke.
Michael Thorbjornsen of Wellesley, Massachusetts, needed a sudden-death playoff to win his first-career Boys Division championship. In the three-person playoff, the No. 2 player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings birdied the first hole to secure the title. Rose Zhang of Irvine, California, grabbed her third AJGA Invitational victory of 2018. The win is Zhang’s fifth AJGA victory of her career.
Angela (Yilin) Liu of (China) Irvine, California, earned her first AJGA tournament title after scoring 13 points in the modified Stableford event. The win is Liu’s third top-10 finish of 2018. Stephen Campbell, Jr. of Richmond, Texas, earned 26 points to take home his first AJGA title by one point. The victory marks Campbell’s sixth-career top-10 finish.
