Thorbjornsen won his first AJGA Invitational at The PING Invitational, and he also earned two more AJGA top-seven finishes in 2018. The first-time Rolex Junior All-American also won the 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship. Thorbjornsen, who finished the season at No. 2 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, was also a member of the Wyndham Cup East Team and posted a 3-1-0 match-play record.
