LPGA Tour

Anna Nordqvist earned her seventh Tour victory at the Bank of Founders Cup in Phoenix, Arizona. She set a tournament course record 11-under-par 61 in the third round to win by two strokes at 25-under-par 263. Nordqvist competed in the 2005 Thunderbird International Junior and fell short in the quarterfinals at the 2005 Polo Golf Junior Classic. She also competed on the 2005 European PING Junior Solheim Cup team. The 2018 PING Junior Solheim Cup will take place August 14-16 in West Des Moines, Iowa. Fellow AJGA alumnae Ariya Jutanugarn and Stacy Lewis tied for second at 23-under-par 265. Jutanugarn competed in 13 AJGA events and was the 2011 and 2012 Rolex Junior Player of the Year. Lewis competed in three AJGA events and is set to host the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational for the third time June 19-22 at Fayetteville Country Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Marc Leishman earned his first TOUR victory since 2012 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard. Less than a year after Palmer's death, the event focused on his legacy and passion for the game and his community. Leishman, who competed in the 2001 Junior World Championships, finished in Palmer fashion, charging up the leaderboard with a 51-foot eagle on the par-5 No. 16 to give him his second TOUR title at 11-under-par 277. Kevin Kisner and Charley Hoffman finished one shot back at 10-under-par 278. The alumni combined for 26 AJGA events during their careers.
