Jackson Van Paris and Phoebe Beber-Frankeleach earned victories at the AJGA Junior All-Star at Forsgate.

Four tournaments were contested over the weekend to wrap up the spring season. The events, held in Florida, Wisconsin, Massachusetts and New Jersey, showcased 312 AJGA juniors.
Sergio Garcia Foundation Junior Championship – The second year of the tournament provided 36 holes of stroke play at ChampionsGate Golf Club’s International Course. Defending champion Joaquin Niemann of Santiago, Chile, overcame an opening-round 7-over-par 79 with a final-round 5-under-par 67 to enter a playoff with Jorge Villar of Puebla, Mexico. Niemann, No. 2 in both the AJGA Rankings and the World Amateur Golf Rankings, won on the first hole for his second straight AJGA win. Jenny Kim of Heathrow, Florida, topped the Girls Division with a 4-over-par 148 tournament total. Sergio Garcia, the 2017 Masters champion, was onsite as the players finished the final round.
AJGA Preview at Meadowbrook – Will Morlan of Alpharetta, Georgia, claimed his first AJGA victory at the Meadowbrook Country Club, after entering the final round T2. Kelsey Webster of Boulder, Colorado, parred the final hole to earn a one-stroke win in Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin. The event was one of two this weekend as a part of the Junior Golf Hub Preview Series.
AJGA Preview at Waubeeka – Paula-Daniela Gomez-Arevalo of Bogota, Colombia, overcame a one-shot deficit entering the final round to post a three-stroke win in the Girls Division in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The 17-year-old represented one of three foreign countries in the field. Brendan Frain of Sudbury, Massachusetts, and Matthew Conti of Walpole, Massachusetts, earned co-medalist honors in the Boys Division at 8-over-par 152.
AJGA Junior All-Star at Forsgate – Jackson Van Paris of Pinehurst, North Carolina, used six final-round birdies to top the Boys Division at the AJGA Junior All-Star at Forsgate. The win was the 13-year-old’s third top-10 finish in six AJGA starts. Miami’s Phoebe Beber-Frankel tallied five birdies en route to her first AJGA win in the Girls Division. The tournament is part of the ACDS Junior All-Star Series and the Road to Reynolds.
