Liu tees off No.1 at 9:15 with Canon Claycomb of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Noah Norton of Chico, California. Alyaa Abdulghany of Newport Beach, California, took the Girls Division lead after finishing the day 3-under-par for a two-day total of 6-under-par 138. She will tee off No. 1 at 8:35 with Zixuan (Jennifer) Zhou or Longwood, Florida, and Rachel Heck of Memphis, Tennessee.
Three juniors start the final round after going low in the second round. Claycomb birdied eight holes with no bogeys for an 8-under-par 64. Norton fired six birdies and one eagle for a 6-under-par 66. Slidell, Louisiana, native Jacob Bergeron birdied four consecutive holes bringing his second-round total to finish 7-under-par 65.
