The spectacular finish of Jordan Spieth left the crowd in roars on June 25 after he holed out for birdie from a greenside bunker. His dramatic celebrations were captured all over social media as he claimed his 10th victory on TOUR after Daniel Berger missed his attempted 50-foot birdie putt.

Coming into the final day with a one-shot advantage, Spieth lengthened his lead by three after the first two holes making back-to-back birdies. But it was Berger who fought his way to the top of the leaderboard, birdying three of the final six holes to close out at 12-under-par 268. Spieth got up and down on No. 18 to match Berger’s score and force a playoff between the two AJGA alumni.

The Travelers Championship win comes almost 10 years after Spieth took his first ever tournament title in the AJGA at the 2007 Junior All-Star at Walnut Creek. This marked the first of seven AJGA wins and 22 top-five finishes he would have as an AJGA member before leading the University of Texas to the NCAA championship in 2012.
