Three morning foursome matches to watch

7:30 a.m. – Prescott Butler & John Pak vs. Ricky Castillo & Clay Seeber

Butler & Pak are some of the most spirited members of the East Team. Butler went 2-0-0 in his Wyndham Cup debut, while Pak went 1-1-0 as a second-time East Team member. For the West Team, Seeber won his four-ball match, while Castillo caddied for fellow teammate Kaiwen Liu in a tough match that went 18 holes to be halved.

7:40 a.m. – Erica Shepherd & Gina Kim vs. Alyaa Abdulghany & Yujeong Son

The East Team will send two future Duke Blue Devils, Shepherd and Kim, against the West’s Abdulghany and Son in the first girls’ match of the day. Kim and Abdulghany have combined for five years of Wyndham Cup experience, including this year, while Shepherd and Son are making their Wyndham Cup debuts.

8:30 a.m. – Karl Vilips & Khavish Varadan vs. Shaui Minig Wong & Cole Hammer

East Team schoolmates Karl Vilips and Khavish Varadan will compete together for the second day in-a-row. The pair won their morning four-ball match over Castillo and Liu 2&1. Texans Shaui Ming Wong and Cole Hammer will also compete together for the second day in-a-row on the West Team. Wong and Hammer lost a tough match to Pak and Garrett Barber 2-up during their morning four-ball match and will be looking to even their Wyndham Cup record.
