Andrew Yun of Tacoma, Wash., held onto his first-round lead to take home the victory Sunday at the Verizon Junior Heritage held at Harbour Town Golf Links February 2-3 in Hilton Head Island, S.C. Yun, a three-time Rolex Junior All-American, defeated Julian Suri of St. Augustine, Fla., on the second sudden-death playoff hole. This was Yun’s first victory of 2008. Yun finished the tournament with a 68-74–142 total.

In the Girls Division, Marta Silva Zamora of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, took home the championship by two shots over Pearl Jin of San Gabriel, Calif. Silva Zamora shot a tournament-low 67 during the first round and followed it up with a final-round 75 to finish with a 142 tournament total.
