AJGA Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods

The AJGA Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods takes place on February 15-18. The elite boys-only Invitational field consists of 31 Rolex Junior All-Americans and 41 AJGA Champions. The 72-player field also includes 19 of the top 25 players in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. 

• This tournament is annually ranked among the best for boy junior golfers. The 2018 tournament was ranked the #5 overall junior strength-of-field event in the world (#3 in boys-only events) by Golfweek, ahead of the U.S. Junior Championship and the PGA Junior Championship.
  
  
• This tournament has seen many champions go on to successful golf careers. Some of the most successful past champions include: Jim Furyk (1987), David Duval (1989), Tiger Woods (1992), Rickie Fowler (2006) and Jordan Spieth (2011).
  
  
• The Club at Carlton Woods will host the event for the 11th time in 2019. The Invitational previously won the 2009-2015 Junior-Am Award, 2004 and 2014 Hospitality Award, 2013 Golf Professional of the Year and 2009 and 2011 Invitational of the Year. The Tom Fazio Championship Course at Carlton Woods was recognized as the "Best New Private Course in Texas" and the "No. 3 Best New Private Course in the U.S." by Golf Digest.

History has proven top performers at the Invitational have a bright future in college and professional golf, and the 2019 field will look to replicate that success.
