Patrick Reed won the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship with a tournament total 4-under-par 284 for his third career PGA TOUR victory. Reed won by one stroke over Bubba Watson and Jamie Donaldson.
Reed claimed one AJGA victory and seven top-six finishes from 2004-08 including a tie for third at the 2007 CB&I Boys Championship held at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge (then known as the HP Boys Junior Championship). Reed also claimed Rolex Junior All-America Team honors from 2005-07.
Reed attended the University of Georgia for a season before transferring to Augusta State University, where he led the team to back-to-back NCAA Championships.

AJGA alum Max Homa completed his final round of the Puerto Rico Open presented by seepuertorico.com in one hour and 58 minutes. The time was two minutes off the PGA TOUR record of one hour and 56 minutes.
Homa’s AJGA career included six top-10 finishes between 2006-09. Homa attended the University of California-Berkeley where he was a First-Team All-American. He compiled 12 top-five finishes in his collegiate career including becoming Cal’s first-ever NCAA individual medalist in 2013.

Puerto Rico Junior Open champion Austen Truslow of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., made his professional debut at the Puerto Rico Open presented by seepuertorico.com. The three-time AJGA winner missed the cut after rounds of 76-69.

Chesson Hadley won the Puerto Rico Open presented by seepuertorico.com for his first PGA TOUR victory. Hadley carded a tournament total 21-under-par 267 and won by two strokes.
As and AJGA junior, Hadley recorded six top-15 finishes including two wins between 2004-06.
Hadley played college golf at Georgia Tech. During his college career he had 11 top-10 finishes and two victories. He is eighth in Georgia Tech history with a stroke average of 72.37 in 107 career rounds.
