Charlie Beljan captured his first PGA TOUR win at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic, Nov. 8-11. The PGA TOUR rookie closed with a 3-under-par 69 for a two-stroke margin of victory and a 16-under-par 272 tournament total.

A former Rolex Junior All-American, Beljan competed in four AJGA tournaments between 2001-2002. His best finish came at the 2002 First State Banks Southwestern Junior Classic, where he tied for sixth. That same year, he defeated Zac Reynolds to win the U.S. Junior Amateur. He continued his golf career at the University of New Mexico before turning pro in 2007.

Cristie Kerr won for the first time in two years at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational, Nov. 8-11. With a final-round 3-under-par 69, Kerr held off third-round leader Inbee Park and Angela Stanford to win with a 16-under-par 272.

A three-time Rolex Junior All-American, Kerr earned 13 career junior individual titles. In 1995, she won five AJGA titles, en route to Rolex Junior Player of the Year honors. Other junior highlights include victories at the 1994 Women’s Western Junior and the 1995 Orange Bowl International Junior. She made an appearance at the 1996 Curtis Cup and earned low amateur honors at the 1996 U.S. Women’s Open.
