Three Things for the first round of the CB&I / Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods

Travis Vick of Houston, was added to the tournament field at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday due to a last minute withdraw from the tournament. Vick’s top AJGA finish was T2 at the 2015 Insperity Invitational AJGA Junior Championship hosted by Patrick Reed. The 15-year-old tees off in his first AJGA Invitational at 10:10 a.m.
Mike May of Auburn, New York, recorded a hole-in-one on No. 9 during Friday’s practice round. May is making his first AJGA Invitational appearance and signed a National Letter of Intent with Cornell University. Tournament participants are treated to a variety of fun social activities at the CB&I / Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods. On Friday night, participants attended a Texas-themed Welcome Reception that included laser tag and a Peeps Long Drive Contest. Tonight, tournament participants will have the opportunity to play Glow Golf and “Minute To Win It Games.”
